Urban gardening comes with its own challenges, which are often related to space.
Whether it is on a balcony, a deck or a small garden, space is at a premium and in order to grow a decent quantity of herbs, flowers or edible plants, using vertical space is key.
And when winter comes, storing those gardening containers efficiently is essential.
This was the starting point for the Modular Garden, designed for Garant and produced under their Botanica brand. After a rigorous analysis of outdoor living trends and common gardening practices, we have developed a solution with a great emphasis on ergonomics & esthetic considerations. The containers can stack up to 3 units high and in many different configurations thanks to a removable leg. It collapses to a fraction of its original volume, making it a breeze to store at the end of the season.
The scope of the project includes the design phase, 3d modeling and product development.
